There are two things I always want to buy (besides my collection of Starbucks Country and City mug from the places I have been): Bags and Pottery.
The bags tend to get their fair share of use and I have to eventually give them up or with a sad face decide I don't need them...
But... Pottery... I have not been able to part with just yet. Even though most of it sits in plastic boxes nicely bubble wrapped back at my parents house in the states. Others are nicely displayed by my parents in my new room or around their house (probably cause I put it there) in the States.
If you have seen any of my little treasures I've sent home over the last couple of years, you will know that I am a huge fan of pottery, dishes, ceramics... anything that can be use to decorate, wall hanging, framed titles, decorative pieces you help stand up with those v thingys or a complete set to use as salad/dinner bowls or who knows, dessert/ice cream bowls. Yes I have even purchased matching water pitchers and mayyybeee sometimes a sugar and cream bowls...
I guess a fan might be an understatement, right mom? I did give several away as gifts though. :)
Well, I am once again in luck not to disappoint you friends back home. Here they have beautiful pottery too! I LOVE this blue tealish pottery they make. I purchased some back in April when I was visiting and not really thinking I would be coming back here. The Father works in some crazy ways cause here I am. I am so excited to think about what fun set of pottery collection I will come home with this time!
So with all that said, this photo shows my latest purchase. (Just picture a HUGE smile on my face!) Right now it is place around my room adding cute little decor and making it feel more homey. The small plate is holding my daily jewelry. The little bowl is on my desk holding little nick-nacks. And the others? Well, they are just pretty aren't they? I am going to put a big candle on the tall one.
I'll have to post another time with pictures of my other pottery.
