My Roommates Birthday
Julie turned 23 sooo we celbrated with some neighbors, friends,
Mexican food, and old-fashion cupcakes
I think we had mexican not because it was julie's favorite... more cause it was mine... and I cooked. But no worries, she likes mexican food too!
1st bite of mexican food!
Cupcakes from Scratch... no cake mix here people! (well there are... i am just to cheap to buy them... kinda pricey!)
Gözde's birthday is this week too so we had a little one for her!
Yummmmm. Sprinkles are all the way from the states! thanks mom and dad!

Cake of the King
Little things that make it feel like my own
So I feel like my room is more complete now. I have some curtains that add a little bit of color and homey feeling to my room. I actually got the fabric at a bazaar (got to little actually... haha ... that is why the are short and don't go to the ground). Then I took them to a tailor to get made. I had to get some curtains because there is a construction that goes on almost all night and that means that lights are on all the time. My poor little white curtains didn't hardly do any good. It is amazing was some dark curtains and two extra pillows and some stuff up on the wall can do for a gal! At home I had picture up everywhere! and here frames are so pricey. But i finally broke down a bought one. It is on our list of things to get next time we make a run to Ikea! But enjoy looking at my fun room!
Some new flower pillows

My desk that i moved with some more curtains
bulletin board with my cute frame A &A sent me!
