Happy 3 months!

Yep that's right peoples! I have been here 3 months!

Within this last week, I have finally felt more settle, more at home, more like I know where I am at and how to get somewhere(or at least the places I need to!), more like I have learned the language!

I still have a long ways to go, but praise be to my Father for graciously calming my heart and making this city and my apartment one of peace and comfort to me!

My work at the Education Services is starting soon. I have been able to do a little more with the people who have come over. It is fun to show them around and talk to them about the city. Starting in March or April, I will be more full time. I have a pretty scheduled life until August. However, I am excited that some of my friends are coming this summer! Some from other countries, some from American, some who will just be passing through! It is so great!!!!

Since January I have been reading through Gen. (and some in PS,PR, and Matt- it is a year study through the bible) about the beginning and our past. One thing that keeps coming back in my mind is how Consistant MY God is! How He makes promises and KEEPS them, how we try to fulfill his promises and fail, but HE is the one who comes and fulfills HIS promises.

One of the key subjects is how the Sarah(Abraham's wife) and Rebekah(Issac's wife) and Leah(Jacob's wife were all barren until the Lord's time, until the Lord and ONLY the Lord could open their womb and give them a child of their own.  God fulfilled his promise to Abraham, even when Abraham was 100 and Sarah was 90! And through them came Jesus hundreds of years later!

I hope that I can wait for the Lord and his great promises for me. Actually, I know that I can because of how he kept his promised before! So take heart my friends and know that OUR God is one greatness and of faithfulness in fulfilling the Word he has given us! May be we long for that fulfillment!
