HIGHLIGHTS OF 2007

Highlights of 2007 - retry....

I have officially been blogging now for a year, and I hope whoever looks at this is enjoying all the pictures because I LOVE pictures. So I thought... if you are just now looking at my blog it would be great to just highlight the last year than for you to have to go through every entry. (However, if you would like there are tons of slideshows if you want to see more pictures of anything.)

So here I go!

I started my New Years visiting friends in Iowa. In 2005, I spent a summer there at the children intern under Mandy B. I hadn't been back up there for a year and a half. So i decided to take a little trip!

There was NO snow until New Years Eve! but I had a wonderful time hanging out with Mandy and her new husband Mark, The Jones(sorry no picture!), and Mr. Timothy.

I was able to go back in August to be a conselor at Kids Camp there, visit friends again, and to go to Sioux Falls to see my sister!

I had an amazing winter quarter hanging out with some great education majors! The best quarter in education in my four years at tech!

We held a Pie Auction at our campus organization. The guys have a beard auction... So the pie auction is to get back at those ladies! It was crazy fun (as you can see... some of the girls were really creative!)

WINTER FORMAL!!!! Jake and Scuba went as Dumb and Dumber- highlight of their 4 formals at Tech.

I ran a marathon! Caroline and I continued on after the Half Marathon in Dallas last fall and trained for the New Orleans Mardi Gras Marathon. It was very tiring (obviously), but I am so glad to mark it off of my list of things to do.

Serve-n- ski with FBC. I absolutely LOVEEEEE to ski. It is one of my favorite activities. Here is a great group of skiers that I was able to ski with. Emma is in the green jacket, and I am in the blue.

Pat received his Eagle Scout award!!!

Phi Mu had their annual Golf Tournament to raise money for CMN- Children Miracle Network.

TWIRP!!! The Woman Is Required to Pay. Salsa Dancing Night.
Caroline and I doubled up with Scuba and Jake.

Pat graduate High School! and I graduated college!!!

I lost a really dear friend, fellow teacher, and sister in Phi Mu not even a week after graduation. One weekend we are walking to graduate and the next I was at her funeral. It makes sad even now, but i know she is in the best place possible now!

Katie Kelley and I have been friends since we were 15! I love this girl!

I got to hang out with some fun friends in June before I headed overseas.

I spent the summer in Malaysia with an amazing team of girls from Tech. Meleah joined our team later so she is not in this picture.

Katie and I went early and stayed late. So the first week we went to Thailand and the last couple of days we traveled to Singapore! I couldn't have had a better travel buddy.

I worked with two girls at a school teaching English and spreading the good stories of our Father. You can read all about them and see slideshows of picture in the June, July, and August posts! ENJOY!

I started working at a BCM 4 hours south of my amazing home. I love working with college students. Sometimes it is really difficult but overall I couldn't have asked for a better year!

This is our leadership team.

Homecoming Float with 'Where's Waldo/Cowboy?' theme.

Keri got married!

My car I have had ever since i was 17 died a tragic death. A kindly gentlemen(who had never been in a car wreck) hit my car from behind. But our Father provides! (and he used it to break my pride!) I have a great little camry.

My family took pictures! Don't we look great?

My whole family went to the Christmas Festival this year and hung out with all of dad's side of the family. This picture is for my Marine friend who is overseas right now.

With the help of Chelsey, Paul, and Stacy, I made up a song - the Longville National Anthem in honor of our friend Coty for his going away gift. It was great and you should ask me to see it sometime.

Karen has an amazing story about how her and Brian were brought together. I got to see the wedding!
